Welcome! I’m Fabio Gabrieli and I’m an associate professor in Geotechnics at the Department of Civil Environmental and Architectural Engineering of the University of Padova (Italy).

Research area

My research interests lie in the field of geotechnics: Discrete Element models for geotechnical problems, mechanical behaviour of mesh-like structures for geotechnics (steel wire meshes, geogrids), micromechanics of wet granular materials, lab scale physical models, granular flows, landslide triggering mechanisms in granular slopes, photogrammetric techniques and image analysis for landslide monitoring.
